The Role:

Reporting to the Team Leader/Supervisor, the successful candidates will be responsible for providing analytical support to the manufacturing facility, method development and validation and stability testing of drug products. The main analytical techniques employed are HPLC, UV, IR, GC, dissolution testing and moisture analysis. They will also ensure documentation is completed to a high standard.

Requirements:

The successful candidates will have a B.Sc. (or equivalent) in Chemistry or a Life Science subject with a significant chemistry component. Practical experience in a commercial laboratory environment (governed by GMP) is essential; this experience should include the analysis of Pharmaceutical drug products. He/She will be proficient in the use of basic IT applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), have the ability to work effectively as part of a team and be able to complete documentation to a high standard. Although not essential, hands-on experience of HPLC analysis, dissolution testing and stability testing is desirable as is experience of HPLC and dissolution method development and validation. An M.Sc/PhD (or equivalent) in a Chemistry or Life Science related discipline would be also be advantageous.

Additional:

Internal candidates must have at least 6 months service in their current role if applying for vacancies within their division and at least 12 months service if applying for vacancies in other divisions.
