The Role:

To support the QC shift operation of the Almac Sciences Pilot Plant. To perform analysis as required, assisting in the efficient operation of the laboratory and to ensure that schedules are met and that the quality of work meets specified standards.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a third level qualification (or equivalent) in a Life Science related discipline, and have previous analytical experience within the pharmaceutical/fine chemistry industry. The successful candidate will have basic level ability in the use of Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel etc), a proven ability to plan and organise work both independently and in conjunction with team members, and have excellent communication skills; both verbal and written. Although not essential, a degree level qualification (or equivalent) in an Analytical related discipline, and experience of drug substance or drug product analysis in a GMP environment would be desirable.

Additional:

Internal candidates must have at least 6 months service in their current role if applying for vacancies within their division and at least 12 months service if applying for vacancies in other divisions.
