IVRS / IWRS - IXRS 2.0

In 2006, Almac launched the first integrated phone and web patient and drug management system in the pharmaceutical industry: IXRS. Today, people use the phrase IXRS to generally describe interactive voice and web response systems, a tribute to our success in pioneering such technology.

Through a process of continuous improvement, Almac has enhanced its unique technology by adding new features and functionalities each year. We do so by engaging in dialogue with our clients, conducting market research, and using other methods to understand industry trends and challenges.

The latest upgrade to our system is so revolutionary in the way that it improves clinical trial efficiencies that we’ve decided to consider it a new version of IXRS. Launched in June 2010, IXRS 2.0 is built upon the existing IXRS platform but adds a whole new universe of web-enabled technology that greatly improves the user experience and streamlines the work flow processes of clients and personnel at clinical trial sites worldwide.

IXRS 2.0 offers clients exciting new additions, such as smart menus, informed navigation, and single sign-on to the Almac portal in which sites and sponsors can conduct transactions on our integrated IVR/IWR system and also access reports from our new state-of-the-art reporting system, Almac Interactive Reporting.
